Loved my experience at ; being a has opened my eyes to a new beginning. I met new friends, top stylists, and people who have been in this industry forever and wouldn’t change a thing. At first I was nervous not knowing what I was getting into. But I could say I learned a lot about drive and passion in this industry. How people used hard work and dedication to get to where they’re at. That this industry is very fulfilling and a joy to be in.
When I was at Beacon, come to my surprise I was one of the . I received used shears . Which was awesome since my essay was about her. Cool part was during the NAHA award ceremony, I was able to sit with all the nominees and see Mario Lopez’s dimples up close, and shake hands and speak to New York’s Ruth Roche onstage and backstage.

I can’t wait for my journey to continue in this world of beauty. There are so many possibilities and one day would like to come back to NAHA as a nominee stylist…
