Exhale House is seeking a Beauty Support Specialist to assist our founder and lead stylists in a fast-paced, high-touch salon environment. This is your entry point into the world of luxury extensions, dimensional color, and sensorial guest care—with real growth potential and elevated mentorship.

Support stylists with extension prep, client readiness, and behind-the-chair organization

Assist with shampoos, blowouts, styling, and guest care during double-booked appointments

Capture content (after photos/videos) for portfolio + marketing

Rotate between assisting with color, extensions, or both depending on the day

Style clients based on skill—may include blowout or styling appointments with bonus pay

Participate in education and shadowing, with opportunities to attend guest artist trainings and work toward Great Lengths certification ($2,900 value)

This is a part-time to full-time position (20–35 hours/week), with one required Saturday shift (9am–4pm). Weekly schedules are set in advance and remain consistent unless shift swaps or time-off requests are submitted—we’re flexible within reason, but we respect structure.

Morning Momentum
7:30am–2:00pm, Tuesday–Friday
For early risers who like their afternoons free. Focus on morning prep, client readiness, and assisting with mid-day services.

Golden Hour Crew
12:00pm–6:30pm, Tuesday–Friday
Great for those who want a slower start. Focus on finishing services, styling, and guest experience.

Power Trio (3 Long Days)
8:00am–6:00pm, 3 days/week (e.g. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
For stylists who want to go deeper, faster. Focused, immersive work with both color and extensions.

Bonus: You may also have opportunities for friends/family test days (unpaid but educational), or full-day model work as your skills evolve.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet customers in 30 seconds or less
Follow the Beauty ABC’s & Service ABC’s selling formula, including all processes trained in the Global Service Handbook

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Continuous bending of neck, arms, torso, and legs.

Continuous standing/walking for 8 hours.

Requirements

Must maintain compliance with state board regulations at all times.
Maintain and display a valid state-issued aesthetician or cosmetologist license for the work state. The employee is responsible for any fees, additional training, and/or renewals needed as a requirement.
Flexibility regarding work hours; ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify check.

Additional job duties if assigned as a key holder in the location:

Maintain authority of personnel in the Boutique.
Verbally communicate with clients and Boutique employees in a clear manner
Assume all opening/closing responsibilities.
Receive increased security access within the Retail/ POS system to execute customer returns, discounts, and employee transactions.
Maintain excellent cash management and management of the safe and applicable security codes.
Count cash and balance registers and cash deposits.
Operate POS system, e-waiver iPad, boutique technology, shipment scanner gun, laptop (used for online scheduling), alarm keypad, and calculator.
Partner with the Regional Boutique Proprietor on ALL issues or questions.
Appropriately react and handle emergencies and loss prevention issues when opening or closing the Boutique.
Use all resources and tools to create the best atmosphere for our customers and employees.
